Master’s Degree, Ph.D., or Psy. D. in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field required. Current licensure as a Professional Counselor, Social Worker, or Psychologist and Certification as an Art Therapist is required. Experience providing trauma treatment is preferred. Experience using an electronic health record is also preferred. The position requires three clearances (Pennsylvania Childline Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and Cogent FBI Background Check) and the Child Abuse Mandated Training. If applicants don’t already have these clearances, the agency can provide instructions for how to apply for them.
This is a Full Time position providing counseling and art therapy to children and adolescents at the Hanover, Gettysburg, and York offices. The therapist must have the ability to address emotional, behavioral, and trauma related issues through the use of standard evidence based and creative therapies. All clinical documentation is completed in an electronic medical record and must meet licensing and quality standards

Position involves providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate will have experience treating a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral problems using evidenced based clinical treatments. The individual will provide individual therapy, with the possibility for family, couples, and group therapy; complete required documentation including treatment plans and progress notes; and attend staff/treatment team meetings. This is a part time, fee for service position requiring availability at least 2 evenings per week.
