The Amazing Kids Club-Behavior Health Specialist – Part-time

Requirements:

Applicants must have either a Bachelors degree or an Associates degree/ 60 credits toward a Bachelor degree, with the equivalent of at least three years of full-time paid work experience in a job that involves direct contact with children or adolescents. The position requires three clearances (Pennsylvania Childline Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and Cogent FBI Background Check). Job Description:

Position involves working with children and adolescents, ages 2-21 that have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The individual will provide group socialization therapy to clients by implementing therapy curriculum developed by Master’s level staff. Program Specialists work with the clients to help them develop social skills and emotional intelligence through fun group activities. The treatment takes place at our facility. The position requires the ability to work at least two evenings a week from 3:30- 7:30. We can offer between 8-16 hours a week and full day hours during our summer program. The Functional Family Therapy program has openings for two therapists, 1 full-time and 1 part-time with the potential to become full-time. This is an evidenced-based program designed to meet the needs of children and adolescents (ages 10-18) and their families. Our clients are typically “at risk” for out of home placements including detention, foster care or in-patient hospitalization. Therapists are trained in an internationally recognized treatment model.
