Steven Schedler
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Steven (Steve) J. Schedler, LCSW, CAADC, CCS, joined the TrueNorth Wellness Services team as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in January 2026. With a strong record of leadership in the mental health field, Steve brings a renewed vision to expand and strengthen our commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality behavioral health and wellness services to the communities we serve. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to expanding access to high-quality behavioral health and wellness services, values that align closely with TrueNorth’s intended mission.
Steve Schedler brings over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field to TNWS. Since 2020, he has served as the Executive Director of Samaritan Center, overseeing clinical and administrative operations. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of Naaman Center, a role in which he led a comprehensive array of addiction treatment services. These combined leadership experiences, along with his roles as a therapist, have equipped Steve with a deep understanding of behavioral health systems and a proven ability to guide diverse teams, implement strategic initiatives, and support sustainable service delivery.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, a Master’s of Social Work degree from Temple University, and several professional designations. He is a native of Franklin County (Mont Alto), PA, and a Waynesboro High School graduate. Steve currently lives in Hershey, PA, with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Levi and Maddie.

Cheryl Jones
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Cheryl Jones has been with TrueNorth Wellness Services since 1989. She first started in the Controller/Fiscal Officer role and has now moved into the CFO position. What brought her to TrueNorth was her prior assistance with the agency’s audit and her becoming familiar with the agency’s good work. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an Associate of Science in Business, and has attended numerous other training programs over the years.
She began her career in banking while she was in college. She worked as a teller, then assisted in the bookkeeping department, and later worked in the trust department, accounting for various trust agreements for banking clients. From there, Cheryl was hired as an accountant at Harry Ness & Co, where she gained experience in auditing, compilation, and review engagements for various companies. Since joining TrueNorth (formerly Adams-Hanover Counseling Services, Inc.), she has been in charge of various aspects of the business, including billing, front office, A/R, A/P, and HR. Cheryl also specializes in non-profit accounting and adhering to the 4300 regulations.
Each year, Cheryl looks forward to receiving a clean audit, which they have achieved since she started. To her, it’s meaningful to hear about the many positive outcomes for the clients TrueNorth serves. What excites her most about the future is TrueNorth’s new CEO and the opportunity to grow as an organization and help even more clients. She loves who she works alongside and the work she does. Outside of work, Cheryl loves to travel and visit her children and grandchildren who reside outside of Pennsylvania.

Elspeth Williams
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Elspeth Williams has been with TrueNorth Wellness Services since 2003. She began her career providing behavioral health services to children across a variety of programs before moving into management roles, becoming Director of Children’s Services, and is now Chief Operating Officer. She holds a BA in Psychology and French from Lebanon Valley College and an Ed.M. in Educational Psychology from Temple University. She is licensed in PA as a Behavior Specialist and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and holds a certificate in Organizational Behavior Management. It is inspiring to her to work with a talented and dedicated group of people at TrueNorth who have a clear passion and heart for helping others.

Erin Glenn
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF TREATMENT AND PREVENTION SERVICES
Erin Glenn began her career with TrueNorth Wellness Services in 2010 as a crisis worker and later assisted in opening a rural outpatient therapy office. Drawn to TrueNorth when the agency was starting a new program in her rural community, she saw the opportunity to make a direct impact close to home. From there, she shifted into behavioral health management and administration, and in her current role, Erin oversees all programs within the Treatment and Prevention Services branch of TrueNorth Wellness Services. She supports a team of incredible managers and staff, serving as their advocate and working to ensure health across the broader agency so they can continue their invaluable work each day. One of the things she enjoys most about being part of TrueNorth is the agency’s commitment to growth, learning, and collaboration, especially the chance to partner with other organizations to create new programs and discover better ways to support clients together. In addition, Erin assists with the agency’s management of the EHR system and serves as a DLA-20 trainer. She also sits on multiple community boards. Erin has a Bachelor of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and a Master of Social Work, both from the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of her professional role, she stays busy running her kids to activities and enjoys unwinding with a good book, even if it’s just a chapter before bed.

Cori Reed
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN’S SERVICES
Cori A Reed has been with TrueNorth Wellness Services since 2011, with increasing roles of responsibility. She began her career as a mobile therapist and behavior consultant before transitioning to the BHRS and School-Based Program Manager roles. She has been the Senior Director of Children’s Services+ since 2019. She is responsible for overseeing children’s services provided in the home, school, community, and Autism center settings. She is licensed in PA as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Behavior Specialist. She received her BA from Elizabethtown College and her MA in Child & Family Studies from Syracuse University. Cori’s areas of interest include trauma-informed care, DEIB, grief, the mental health of children, adolescents, and families, and the education and empowerment of students and professionals in the mental health field.

Michelle Shearer
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF RESIDENTIAL AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES
Michelle has been with TrueNorth Wellness Services for more than 30 years and is currently the Senior Director of Residential and Community Support Services. This has allowed her to become a valued and effective leader within TrueNorth Wellness Services. In addition to her professional development, the organization’s mission and values have naturally fostered her commitment to meeting people where they are and encouraging them to live their best lives.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with a dedicated team to establish innovative programs or reorganize existing ones to meet the needs of the individuals we serve. With each new challenge, they let the organization’s mission and values guide them.
It’s hard to believe, but even after all these years, she remains excited to come to work, collaborate with amazing individuals, and envision the possibilities. For her, it is important that what TrueNorth does is meaningful to individuals and our communities, and over the years, she has had the pleasure of meeting many people and watching their stories unfold. Michelle is honored to be part of the TrueNorth team.
